je viendrais ptet à réinstaller car j'suis sur du ReiserFS et à chake démarage il semble me faire un truc supplémentaire, j'repasserais ptet en ext3...mais pour l'instant hors de question, ça changeras rien, j'ai de toute façon eu quelque merde et j'commecne à connaitre l'install ubuntu (j'ai du l'install 4 ou 5 fois en une semaine...

..alors j'ai trouvé une url qui semble intéressante mais j'capte pas grand chose, y'aurait un module "asus_acpi" : http://www.ngolde.de/laptop.html

The ACPI support of the 2.6 kernel is very good. Use the asus_acpi kernel module to make ACPI work. To make the AC-adapter status work you have to use this kernel patch or a fixed DSDT table. If you use the newest bios version by Asus you don't have to use this patch anymore. There are many fixed DSDT tables in the net. I use the patch variant and my AC status works too. For more Information see the ACPI4Linux pages. To make the special buttons and LEDs work you have to install and configure the acpid program. Create and edit ***spam*** files: /etc/hotkeys.sh /etc/events/hotkey. This is the content of the files:

merci d'm'aider j'suis un noovice, mais j'vx passer plus sérieusement sous linux.

bon alors j'ai testé la réinstall, sa change une chose, le "acpi=off" semble fonctionner, mais sa résoud pas le probleme... il semble faire kelke chose car les touches Fn fonctionnent pour le control du volume et la luminosité.
Mais le portable ne s'étein toujours pas automatiquement, faut forcer le bouton power à la main. et la batterie n'est tjrs pas bien reconnue.

Par contre après cette réinstall, bizard "ajouter/enlever des applications" ne fonctionne plus.. ils cherchent indéfinimen.
