Pour compléter, je viens de trouver d'autres clones de Red Hat Entreprise Linux.
Lineox Entreprise Linux (
http://www.lineox.net) :
Pour ceux qui causent english...
Lineox Enterprise Linux is based on source RPM packages from which Red Hat Enterprise Linux is compiled. Lineox Enterprise Linux contains all programs included in various Red Hat Enterprise Linux variations (Advanced Server (AS), Entry/Mid Server (ES), and Workstation (WS)). It also contains programs included in separately sold Red Hat Cluster Suite and Red Hat Developer Suite. Lineox has removed and replaced all files of Red Hat Enterprise Linux which have restrictive copyright by Red Hat, Inc. Lineox has also tried to remove all user-visible references to Red Hat in Lineox Enterprise Linux. The most notable difference between Lineox Enterprise Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux is the support options provided by Red Hat, Inc. Lineox, Inc. does not provide any support for Lineox Enterprise Linux with the base product. Lineox, Inc. however plans to provide binary package updates for Lineox Enterprise Linux as long as Red Hat, Inc. provides updates for Red Hat Enterprise Linux in source package format.
X/OS Linux (
http://www.xoslinux.org/) :
X/OS Linux is a free, enterprise-class Linux distribution focused on business and corporate users. It provides a complete GNU/Linux operating system and includes more than 1000 software packages selected on stability and performance.
X/OS Linux is released and maintained by X/OS Experts in Open Systems BV (website), and derived from the publicly available Red Hat Enterprise Linux™ source packages.
X/OS Linux was launched to provide a hassle-free enterprise-class Linux operating system without usage terms tied to commercial services. X/OS has made a public commitment to its users that X/OS Linux will be free of charge, now and in the future.
From desktop to data center, X/OS Linux is a sound choice for stable and secure computing.
The X/OS Linux 3.0 package set is identical to the package set from RHEL3 Update 2, with ***spam*** exceptions:
*Packages from Red Hat's Cluster Suite (clumanager, ipvsadm, piranha, redhat-config-cluster) and Global File System products have been added.
*The eclipse package from Red Hat Developer Suite was added.
*Extra packages generated by the source rpm's but not included with RHEL3 have been added (primarily "-devel" packages).
*Packages needed for building other packages were added, including: Gtk-Perl, libglade, lynx, nasm, perl-PDL and skkdic.
*The packages yum, apt and synaptic (a graphical front-end for apt) have been added. X/OS provides repositories for these update methods.
*The up2date and yum packages have been modified to fix the problem of showing zero-sized packages. An extended yum repository can now be created by using the --size flag with yum-arch.
*Red Hat trademarks and logos have been removed, affecting packages anaconda-images, redhat-logos and redhat-release in particular. Various other packages also required minor modifications to remove references to Red Hat.
****spam*** packages have been renamed: redhat-logos (xos-logos), redhat-lsb (xos-lsb), redhat-release (xos-release) and redhat-rpm-config (xos-rpm-config).
*The X/OS Linux 3.0 DVD contains an extra directory "dvdutils" with tools to create a complete set of ISO9660 CD images from the DVD. See the README file in the top directory of the DVD for information on how to use this feature.
