Problème d'installation de logiciel ( tar... ./configure...)

tout allait bien jusqu'a ....

[root@localhost jerome]# tar zxvf httrack-3.32-2.tar.gz
......
[root@localhost jerome]# cd httrack-3.32.03
[root@localhost httrack-3.32.03]# configure
bash: configure: command not found
[root@localhost httrack-3.32.03]# ./configure

# tar zxvf httrack-3.32-2.tar.gz a fonctionné
# ./configure a n'est pas allé au bout .[i][/i]
Et que veut dire configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH ???

HELP !!! Je pense que je ne suis pas loin mais j'aurais besoin de tuyaux !!!

Certaines archives ne comportent pas de configure , et encore moins de fichier d'aide à l'installation ( ex firefox , thunderbird ). Que faire alors????

il semblerait que tu n'ais pas de compilateur (lorsqu'il cherche gcc, cc, etc).
Ou du moins il ne parvient pas à le trouver là où il devrait (dans le PATH).
1/essai man gcc ou gcc -h pour voir si tu as un gcc
2/installe gcc si tu ne l'as pas et recommence le ./configure ensuite.
3/si tu l'as, il faut rajouter son adresse dans le path. Mais ça m'etonnerait.

Au cas où, pour voir ton PATH (la liste des repertoires qui sont visités quand tu lances une commande) : echo $PATH

Il existe des archives mozilla (firefox ...) qui comporte la mention *GTK2* : Il sufiit JUSTE des les décompresser et de lancer le binary.

A priori tu ne possede pas de compilateur sur ton systeme. Ajoute les (sous mandrake, ce sont les paquages de dev : gcc, headers, automake, binutils, bison, flex, yacc ... entre autres).

pour verifier s tu possede gcc, tu peux faire un 'ls / -R | grep 'gcc'' ou alors un 'updatedb' suivi d'un 'locate gcc'
