Mandriva spring et carte ati

Nouvelle carte graphique et nouveaux problèmes de configuration.
La carte graphique (x1950 pro) est bien détectée, mais fonctionne en mode 16 bits avec le driver fourni de la Spring.
C'est un peu gênant, pour: jouer, lancer des videos,ou faire de la retouche d'image, car en 16 bit, il n'y a pas d'accélération 3D.

J'ai donc tenté de mettre proprement le driver d'ATI, j'ai suivi les recommandations d'installation, mais il y a un problème que je n'arrive pas à résoudre.

Que je lance l'installation par la console, ou en mode graphique (kdesu konqueror ..), le résultat est le même, le mode 24 bits et l'accélération 3D sont disponibles, mais au redémarrage, j'ai une ligne de commande, au lieu du mode graphique.

Voici ci dessous la démarche que j'ai utilisé, mais dès l'étape 2, j'ai un message d'avertissement que je ne comprends pas, alors si quelqu'un peu m'aider !!

Bonjour,

J'ai une 1950 aussi et j'avais plein de soucis pour installer les drivers officiels avec des messages pas sympas, comme les tiens.
Je suis passé par Envy et depuis je ne m'embête plus. J'ai suivi le tuto http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/doku.php?do=search&id=envy qui est pour Ubuntu par contre, et je ne sais pas si ce script existe pour d'autres distributions.

En fait, il ne faut pas installer les drivers fournis par ati mais les récupérer en mise à jour.

Etape 1 : Chercher les drivers ati sur le cd mandriva (ils y sont) et les installer
Etape 2 : les mettre à jour
Pour cela, allez sur easyurpmi et ajouter le media plf-nonfree backend

et en vérifiant les mises à jour il y en a.

J'ai réglé tous mes problèmes graphiques ainsi.

Salut à tous. Je crois steed que les rpm que tu a généré sont en conflit avec les paquetages déjas installé.
Je te conseille ce tuto http://wiki.mandriva.com/fr/Ati que j'ais cité dans un autre forum http://www.mandrivalinux-online.eu/foru ... f=1&t=2649
Il faut d'abord déclarer les rpm comme source avant de les installer via le centre de configuration.
Je trouve le driver mis à jour ati meilleur que mesa en terme de performance.
