carte réseau non reconnue après migration linux

Bonjour,

Sur mon portable, j'ai installé Mandriva 2007.1 (linux 2.6.17)

Je pensais ensuite effectuer une mise à jour via internet pour corriger tout ce qui ne fonctionne pas.
Malheureusement, impossible de me connecter via mon Wifi (carte Atheros non reconnue et pas prise en compte par madwifi).
Et je ne peux pas non plus en branchant un cable directement derriére mon routeur/wifi, car carte réseau semble ne pas être reconnue non plus ?! (sans parlé de mon lecteur DVD)

Si je fais la commande ifconfig, il me répond :

Pour information, dans le fichier prcsys.log, je trouve l'erreur suivante :

Quelqu'un a une idée ? (parce que le laptop sans réseau c'est pas cool)

Pour information, ma carte réseau est : NVIDIA nForce 610M (MCP67-MV)

PS : pour le pb DVD, c'est bizarre car dans fichier /etc/fstab, j'ai
/dev/hda /media/cdrom auto umask=0022,users,iocharset=utf8,noauto,ro,exec 0 0

or aucun fichier hda n'existe sous /dev ... !?

C'est fait, mais personne ne semble avoir de solution.
Je m'étais dit que cela était lié à ma carte réseau et non pas à la distrib linux, c'est pourquoi j'ai posté sur ce forum ...

Pour savoir à quoi c'est lié, essaye avec une autre distrib on sais jamais. Tu peux essayer en livecd, sans installer.

C'est effectivement ce que je vais faire (je télécharge la version Kubuntu live CD actuellement)

à mon avis avec un kernel plus récent ( genre 2.6.22 ) ça devrait aller sans problème.

J'ai téléchargé la version béta de Mandriva (2.6.24.2) et maintenant c'est OK :
carte réseau reconnu, DVD reconnu, et même wifi (après petite mise à jour de madwifi)
