I installed ubuntu karmic koala 9.10 earlier this week and now there is no sound in my internet browsers (firefox, chrome, or opera, in youtube videos, for instance). The sound was working fine after I first installed ubuntu, but it disappeared after I installed amarok (music player) and configured it to play mp3s (it doesn't do so by default). My ALSA mixer volumes are turned up, so I know it's not that. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated!
